About Azure Crest Pools & Outdoor Living LLC
A family-owned Scottsdale pool builder designing custom pools and complete outdoor living spaces as an extension of your home.
Founded in Scottsdale to Build Complete Outdoor Spaces
Azure Crest Pools & Outdoor Living LLC was founded in Scottsdale in 2018 by Ryan Carter with a simple goal: create custom outdoor spaces that feel like an extension of the home. The company is family-owned and operated, and Ryan works directly with the design and construction team and remains involved throughout each project.
We specialize in designing and building custom swimming pools, spas and complete outdoor-living environments for homeowners throughout Scottsdale and the greater Phoenix area. Rather than treating the swimming pool as a standalone feature, Azure Crest approaches each project as a complete outdoor environment. Pool shape, decking, water features, lighting, fire features, spas, shade structures and entertaining spaces are considered together to create a cohesive finished design.
The process begins with understanding the homeowner's property, style, priorities and vision. The team then develops a custom design, including a 3D view, before moving into material selection and construction. Our visual style is especially suited to modern Arizona homes, desert-modern architecture, contemporary outdoor spaces and resort-inspired backyards.

Ryan Carter, Founder and Owner
Ryan Carter founded Azure Crest Pools & Outdoor Living in 2018 and leads the company as owner. As a family-owned and operated business, the team stays small and intentional by design.
Ryan works directly with the design and construction team and remains involved throughout each project, from the first property walk-through to the final walkthrough. That hands-on involvement is part of how the company keeps design and construction coordinated by one team rather than handed off between separate companies.
What Sets Azure Crest Apart
These are the differences that shape how we design and build, drawn from how Azure Crest actually operates.
Custom-Designed Pools, Not Packages
Every pool is designed for your property, style and priorities rather than chosen from a catalog of one-size-fits-all packages.
One Design and Build Team
Design and construction are coordinated by a single team, so the layout you approve in design is what gets built.
Pool and Outdoor Living as One Project
Pool, spa, decking, water features, fire features, shade and entertaining spaces are designed together as one cohesive environment.
3D Design Before Construction
We develop a 3D pool and backyard design so you can see the shape, scale and finishes before any construction begins.
Modern Pool Automation
Smart-control and automation options are available so pumps, lighting, heating and water features can be managed from a phone or tablet.
Dedicated Project Communication
We keep you informed throughout construction with clear, dedicated communication rather than leaving you to guess at the next step.
How We Approach Each Project
From the first conversation to the finished backyard, the process is built around understanding your property and vision before any construction begins.
Understand Your Property and Vision
We start by understanding your property, style, priorities and how you want to use the space before any design work begins.
Custom Design and 3D Preview
The team develops a custom design, including a 3D view of the pool and backyard, so you can see the finished space before construction.
Material and Finish Selection
A detailed material and finish selection process covers pool finishes, tile, stone, travertine, lighting and outdoor living elements.
Construction by One Team
Design and construction are handled by the same coordinated team, with dedicated communication throughout the build.
